AN EFFECTIVE RULE: DISCIPLINE

Changes are an eternal part of sphere, whether it’s a technological or environmental. The world has gone through various revolutions, makeover and transformations from the time of paper written mails to a digitally generated E-mail’s, from a horse cart to a flying car and more in the list. Change had been an enduring chunk of this outsized world.
This world has witness various changes, but one thing that has never changed and will always remain inert is DISCIPLINE. Discipline is another eternal slice other than change and time that lead this world undergo various changes. Almost everything that entail changes has to move through the path of discipline. Just like changes, discipline had been an enduring chunk of this world, as it plays a very important role in wide-ranging domain.

How did you become so rich? What made you so famous? What it takes to become successful? How you completed so many books? Did you ever ask any of these question to a successful person like a celebrity, a prodigy or a businessman? If yes, you must have heard from them; it takes a lot of hard work, dedication, determination, creativity and great efforts. Yes, that’s true, but another quality that strengthen all above qualities is discipline. Being in discipline is a must possess quality for being good at what you want and being successful. If you are determined to achieve a goal but lack discipline, you may able to fulfill the goal but discipline makes you achieve it faster.
Discipline in different fields has distinct ways of implementation. One who  practice martial art, for them being discipline is to be focused on present, be observant to know the next move of the opponent, be the master of your mind and lot more. That is how discipline helps a martial artist to stay calm and be a great observant. If you visit a wildlife reserve or watch on Television a lion hunting, you must observe how calmly with patience a lion chase his prey on the sly, this is how a lion impart the supremacy of being in discipline. Have you ever played chess? If no, then you must give it a try and I am sure you are going to find glory in it. Playing games like chess, crossword, solving puzzles etc. may be tedious for some people but the beauty of such games lies in the way they make you think, control your inner self and make you observant enough to decide the next move. This is how a games teaches you being in discipline without letting you know.

I have seen numerous people talking about how they unable to achieve what they want even after working hard for countless hours. That’s not because people lack dedication, determination or strength when working toward their goal, it is about how discipline you are toward achieving your goal. A person who is trying reading a book and even a chirping of birds is a cause of disturbance, it demonstrate the lack of discipline. When I was completing my higher education I used to study in a study room and use to scold my locality, my society for causing lot of noise and interruption while I was studying. It was

about few weeks remaining for my end term examination and the day comes. I tried my best and gave all examinations to my best. Now it was time for declaration of the result and I was able to score 70 (%) percentage. The next day of the result in the local newspaper I saw a photo of girl belonging to a poor family, her father was running a welding shop near street. She scored 100(%) percentage in the same examination where I scored 70(%) percentage. I read about her more and came to know that “she use to study sitting near the street in day time and that street was one the busiest street in terms of traffic, there was a lot of noise pollution and during night time she used to study under the light of street lamp”, still she manage to score 100(%) percentage. There was the difference between the way studied and she studied. Her discipline was the key that opened the door of success for her, she never complained herself of noisy locality or lack of resources. She was disciplined and mastered her own mind.

This is where I realized that if you are discipline enough that you follows the path you decided to move on with utmost responsibility, focus and being a keen observant nothing can be as powerful as you. Discipline is a tree whose branches are determination, being strict toward self, being focused, being observant and managing the time. So what discipline is all about? Well about how to become master of your own mind, how you follow what you decided to follow and how you make things happen while keeping an control on self.
